Ankle Dorsiflexion/Soleus Stretch

      Ankle Dorsiflexion/Soleus Stretch


Position your leg as shown. Lean your body weight forwards and downwards. Keep your foot flat on the ground. The stretch should be felt in the lower portion of your calf and ankle.


Directions:

-All stretches are to be done slowly avoiding sudden or bouncy movements.
-Hold all stretches for 15-20 seconds and repeat 3 times.
-Do your stretches at least once a day.
-Avoid holding your breath and relax your muscles (over the area of stretch) as much as possible.
